Pristine beauty surrounds this relatively small sloped green. Guarded by a large pond in front of the green and a gallery of trees that watch over the green from behind make it the most demanding hole for accuracy to make par. If you are really lucky, you might see a moose or two that like to frequent the pond! Visiting golfers as well as local residents often find themselves stopping play - just to enjoy the scenery. Perhaps it is the Targhee National Forest, a moose in the pond, or a sand hill crane nesting on the island that makes players pause and take notice. In Fall, the changing colors combined with the clear, crisp mountain air makes golfing at Targhee Village a special time.
