Excellent homespun entertainment. The singing and acting are top notch. Be ready for a non-existent fourth wall, razor sharp wit, and a perfect balance of bawdy jokes and family atmosphere.
I grew up watching plays here in the 80's, and I'm happy to report that the quality has only improved with time. It was good then, it's great now. If you're looking for Broadway, go to New York City. But if you're looking for a show where everything is skewered while keeping to the bounds of family entertainment, this is the place.
In short, if you don't laugh here, it's 'cause you're in your coffin.
