The Grand Encampment Museum, located in Encampment, Wyoming, preserves history with its collection of over a dozen historical buildings filled with artifacts representing the timber, mining, and agricultural history of the Encampment valley.

surprisingly interesting museum for a very small town. there were many buildings you can tour with a guide. We found the staff very nice and helpful.

For a community this size, I thought the museum was remarkable. The myriad of displays, buildings, photographs, and current technology made the visit extremely important and enjoyable.
