Casper Marathon

We’re looking forward to seeing you in person on June 4, 2023 for the 20th anniversary of the Casper Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon and 10K event!

Schedule:

4:30 a.m. Information and Help Center inside the Wyoming Ford Center opens.
4:30 a.m. Shuttle bus runs to start line from Host Hotal (Ramkota) The shuttle bus makes continuous loops that take 10 minutes round trip.  Last Shuttle bus leaves the Host hotel by 5:45 a.m.
5:45 a.m. Course Instruction and Announcements at Start line (No Early Starts)
5:50 a.m. Wheelchair Start (if applicable)
6:00 a.m. Marathon, Half Marathon & Marathon Relay Start, Wyoming Ford Center
7:00 a.m.  10K Start, Casper Events Center
9:00 a.m.  Half Marathon Awards and 10K Ceremony (finish line area)
11:00 a.m.  Marathon, Marathon Relay Awards Ceremony (finish line area) ​
12:30 p.m. ALL Aid Stations Close
​1:00 p.m. Finish Line Closes

Course Information:

The Full Marathon Course is certified as a Boston qualifier. Pacers will be provided for the Full and Half Marathon courses to help you meet your race goal.

From the starting line at the Events Center, where participants can warm up indoors, the race proceeds along city streets for the first 2 to 3 miles, before reaching the pedestrian bridge off Bryan Stock Trail, where the course enters the North Platte River Parkway.

The course proceeds along the parkway, and along the banks of the river, for the next several (mostly flat) miles.

The race takes a generally westward direction along the river and through the downtown area past David Street Station. The Half Marathon Turn around is in the downtown area. The full Marathon route takes you across Poplar street around our beautiful 3 Crowns Golf Course. Following the path to Paradise Valley to the 26.2 Turn around and then back to the finish at the Crossroads Park.
